Cancer BACUP is a national charity which provides information, counselling and support for people with cancer, their families and friends. It also provides services for health professionals. Cancerlink - offers emotional support and information on all aspects of cancer for people affected by cancer, their families, friends and other professionals working with them. The organisation also produces a range of publications on emotional and practical issues. Colon Cancer Concern Line - services include: information, research, campaigning and education about bowel cancer. Cancer Research UK - Research into the causes, prevention and cure of cancer. Macmillan Cancer Support is a national service for people with cancer, their families, friends and carers. It provides information on Macmillan services and activities, as well as giving details of other cancer organisations and support agencies, when appropriate. Macmillan leaflets and publications are also available to support enquiries. The Big C Appeal - a local charity based in Norwich and committed to the care and support of cancer patients and their families throughout Norfolk and North Suffolk. The Big C Appeal also funds research into cancer at the University of East Anglia. |
